The Group Project is an intensive-study training program in Gestalt Therapy group work. We meet for five weekends over the year for lecture and discussion, group supervision, and experiential exploration.
Gestalt Group Therapy emphasizes present-centered authentic communication and phenomenology. Gestalt Group Therapy embraces a perspective that not only allows and enhances one-to-one communication in a therapy group but also strives for enhanced communication with the larger groups and systems within which we live.
Devoted to Gestalt Therapy's emphasis on the co-creation of ideas and the contributions of those who came before, The Group Project endeavors to continue to develop, define, and refine the methodology and practice of Gestalt Group Therapy. We teach a framework that is true to Gestalt Therapy theory while also supporting the creativity and unique style of each therapist.
Authentic communication in action.
